Beautiful Moments in 2008

2008 has been an eventful year for the world and me.

At the end of March 2008, I decided to go out and see the world, instead of confining myself to my own little world. A journey of self-discovery thus began. I backpacked through Hong Kong, Macao, the Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia,Thailand and Singapore in 2008. It has been quite a journey,and I am profoundly grateful for what I've seen and experienced.

July 2008 Cambodia Tuktuk.

There's no public transport system in Siem Reap. To get around, one has to hire a tuk-tuk, a motorcycle with a cabin. Getting the right tuk-tuk driver can be a tricky business, which adds more drama to my adventures.

Dec.30, 2008 On a whim, I concocted my first glass of cocktail.

I bought the purple dress a long time ago, but never had the right occasion to wear it. I guess it goes well with my first glass of cocktail. Well-matched and well-deserved!

Cheers!!! Life is sometimes like a cocktail. The taste depends on how we concoct it.

Every ending is a new beginning!

I'm ready to embrace 2009!
